Pornhub supports whale conservation by encouraging users to watch lots of porn in February.

Pornhub is not typically associated with its environmentally friendly activities.

Instead, the free sex site is known for loading the internet with erotic videos and downloadable content.

While the world will celebrate love and Valentine’s Day this Sunday, Pornhub has decided to take a different, in-house approach… and will focus instead on Saturday, which marks World Whale Day.

The site is encouraging users to watch as many of its videos until the end of February, when it will donate $0.01 per 2000 videos viewed online.

All proceeds will go towards non-profit organisation, The Moclips Cetological Society, which is dedicated to the conservation of whales in Washington.

So, perhaps this initiative may get Pornhub’s users to speak openly about using its service...
