The classic boy-meets-girl tale was never going to be boring, if Tame Impala's music was involved.
Infusing trippy psychedelics, the spot helmed by London directing collective CANADA combines the band's musical beats with a warped reality.
The hallucinatory spot is pretty racy and forward-thinking and stars a female protagonist, who some have been quick to describe as a feminist because of her sexual freedom and desire to chase two guys at once - the high school jock and an ape. Called Trevor.
Using animations, visuals, CG and paint - the spot is plain weird but also pretty fabulous.
