Reinforcing Carling Black Label's reputation in South Africa as a beacon for masculinity, this dramatic commercial helmed by Keith Rose sees a group of young men take action to control a wayward horse in the city.
Created by Ogilvy & Mather Cape Town with production partner Velocity Films, the ad sees physical strength and mental skill align to demonstrate a multi-dimensional idea of power in today's modern man.
The complex and technical production consisted of five thoroughbred horses being trained and conditioned for six weeks, more than 160 hours spent rigging equipment in six locations, a cable camera rig spanning 40 metres above the city streets and six days of location shooting.
