Travelling the world is a luxury afforded to few. Yet those that do travel often document their experiences as a way of sharing their memories and persuading others to follow suit.

Multi-channel network Rightster recognised this trend and enlisted the help of social media influencers to launch a new campaign for Turkish Airlines and the Turkish Tourist Board – in a bid to encourage more visitors to the country.

The campaign invited seven influencers from across the globe – Europe, the Middle East and the US – to visit Istanbul and create a series of travelogues.

All of the stars – with their combined online following of over 40 million – received a red box complete with travel gifts, buisness flight tickets and mysterious itineraries. To see the full list of videos in their native languages, click here.

British born beauty vlogger Bubz can be seen opening her package (below).

Inspired by the success of Rightster’s previous 2014 #FortuneTraveller campaign with the airlines –  promo below – which had over 10 million views and increased sales by 14%, Rightster hopes that the latest campaign will deliver similar results.

In the coming weeks, the social media influencers will document their trips and show what they get up to when they’re abroad.

“Working with social talent offers travel brands the perfect mix of supercharged word of mouth marketing, creativity and guaranteed engagement,” concludes Rightster’s MD of brand solutions Ian Samuel.
