Calling all athletes – and preferably the Strava-users amongst you – behold, you can now do the one thing that you so desire: compare your athletic activity with other users from around the world.

Athletic social network Strava has unveiled its new platform, Strava Insights, created together with Stinkdigital.

Users will be able to find new cycling and running routes from 12 global cities – including London, Syndey and Berlin – and analyse the habits of other users.

The interactive platform uses over 136 billion GPS data points to release weekly stories and visuals about training routes.

The easy-to-use website – which features a large interactive globe – will record the average pace and distance of each user, look at the commuting habits of each city and reveal which cities are most active at certain points in the day.

Now, there’s no excuse to not get moving as you can connect and be inspired by other likeminded (or struggling) fitness fanatics.
