Put Your Best Foot Forward in Samsung’s RWC Game
Cheil has created an interactive 3D rugby game, which can be played on the Piccadilly Circus screens today.
If you’ve been counting down the days to the start of the Rugby World Cup but haven’t managed to nab a half day off to secure a prime seat in the pub… fear not. There is an alternative.
Venture to Piccadilly Circus (if you can escape the desk) and immerse yourself in the game thanks to Samsung UK.
Partnering up with Cheil, Samsung has taken over the Piccadilly screens to commemorate the event’s launch today and tomorrow.
Fans will have the chance to take part in Penalty Kick, an interactive 3D game designed to spur on England and test out Londoners’ rugby skills.
Promoting the new Samsung Galaxy S6 edge range, the game challenges players to kick the ball through the on-screen goal posts using the handset. You get three rounds, so give it your best shot.
Participants will be scored and entered into a leader board with the chance to win a Galaxy s6 Edge+.
Photos and scores will be uploaded to social media from lunch time today.
So if you see the Samsung guys dressed in rugby shirts (make sure they are with Samsung though), stop by and see if you have what it takes to play…
