As technology develops and gadgets become increasingly hot, its little wonder tech watches are so popular.
With the launch of the Apple watch earlier this year and the release of other similar models including Withings’ Activité tracker – buyers seem torn between the practical versus aesthetical value.
Dentsu has tackled this problem by incorporating both aspects in a new campaign for the Seiko Astron watch, due to launch September 19, which fuses tech ingenuity and chunky durability.
The latest model comes equipped with GPS and solar-powered technology that corrects the time automatically.
Japanese DJ MITSU THE BEATS has stepped in for the campaign to perform his music… using the watch face as a turntable to slow down, scratch and reverse the beats.
Although it looks very impressive in the video, this feature won’t be accessible to the public.
