Affected by the tube strike? Delayed to work because you were fighting your way onto the bus? Tempted to sleep at work tonight to beat the queues?

Well fear no longer, you will get home at a reasonable hour… thanks to Publicis London.

The London-based agency has teamed up with Renault to create a taxi-esq service to provide commuters with a stress-free journey between central tube stations and deliver them on time.

"After hearing there was going to be another tube strike, and knowing what mayhem the last one caused for all of us, we thought the Renault Twizy would be the perfect vehicle to help rescue stranded commuters," says Publicis creatives Vicky Lench and Josh Cunningham. "Its small size means it is perfect for nipping in and out of busy traffic and because it’s electric there’s no congestion charge."

In partnership with Renault, a fleet of Twizys will be offering free lifts to stranded travellers. This morning, one journey went from Euston to Victoria!

Get involved with the movement using the #TWIZY hashtag and if you spot one lurking on a street corner near you, do not hesitate to flag it down!
