Organisers of the APA Show, the advertising event which features the APA Collection, showcasing the best UK commercials of the year, have announced details of this year’s event.
This year’s event, taking place on the 3rd September, will move from its previous home of The Natural History Museum to its a new location, the Guildhall, in the centre of the City of London, a building with over 700 years of history that will be bringing together 900 people from the APA membership and ad agencies.
The promotional art work for 2015 celebrates the many places that the APA Collection is seen around the world. Rather than focussing on screenings in big cities like New York and Shanghai, this poster tells the story of how the APA’s man in Japan, Jean-Christian Bouvier, takes the APA Collection to a tiny island off the coast of Japan, where an audience of 40 or so - essentially the whole community on the island - watch it every year.
