US advertising agency TBWAChiatDay LA has announced that Renato Fernandez has been promoted to worldwide creative director at the agency, with responsibility for the Gatorade brand. Prior to the promotion he served as creative director for Gatorade in the US; the move expands his role to cover the brand in its key global markets, as well as other TBWA network global projects. Fernandez, who has been with the agency since 2011, will continue to report into executive creative director Brent Anderson overseeing the Gatorade account.
