Pulse Films has announced it will partner with media industry veteran Patrick Vien as he assumes the newly created global role of president, further bolstering the senior team of the studio.
With over 25 years in the television, music and digital sectors, Vien's media experience in the US and internationally, says Pulse, makes him well placed to further Pulse’s global growth into non-scripted television and channel creation, in addition to its other core business sectors: branded entertainment, film and commercials.
Vien previously held top-level positions at NBC Universal and Warner Music International where he was responsible for overseeing the management and transformation of WMI’s 50 labels.
Vien will be working in partnership with Thomas Benski, CEO, who will continue to focus on the creative and strategic growth of the business. “We’re delighted to have Patrick joining Pulse at this exciting stage," says Benski. "He brings with him a wealth of experience and an entrepreneurial drive that complements our own culture. We are ideally positioned to take advantage of the current landscape and have actioned big plans for growth, specifically within the fields of TV, branded entertainment and channels and Patrick will be a major asset in helping us to further this expansion.”
