We've seen the recent beauty of spots like Mother's Joy of Storage and Bed which took a more poetic approach to some of IKEA's wares, but this new campaign from Forsman & Bodenfors Gothenburg revels in the sturdy, reliable prosaicness of household items such as bath mats, coat hooks and toilet-roll holders.

Directed by Joachim Back through Anonymous Content and voiced by the inimitable General Zod Terence Stamp the spot is a clever and beautifully crafted film to celebrate life's unseen heroes.
