Jake Scott on a Life Behind the Lens

After yesterday's video in which Sarah Patterson sat down with VFX supervisor-turned-director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, we now have a very interesting film in which Patterson talks to Jake Scott about his career behind (and in front of) the camera.

We have something of a Scott-influx at the moment, with this revealing, filmed interview sitting very happily alongside our written interview with Jake's father, one Sir Ridley Scott, which appears in the current issue of shots magazine, issue 155, which subscribers can also access here. 

In the video above, Scott receals how he found his way in the industry, via helping his father as a child actor on Alien, through the music video business (and a sojourn running a nightclub), to commercials and eventually features. He talks about the changing nature of the creative film business, some of his more well-known commercial work, including Apple 1.24.14 [below], and what it's like being part of the Scott clan. All done in what can only be described as a natty red suit!
