Towards the end of last year we brought you TBWAChiatDay LA producer Sarah Patterson's filmed interview with director Rupert Sanders and Pulse Films founder Thomas Benski.

Shot to appear on her on-going YouTube channel, Tea With Sarah, where she talks to prominent members of the advertising and film industries about their careers, Patterson has just completed work on the newest video, an interview with VFX supremo-turned-director Cedric Nicholas Troyan [pictured below], which you can view above.

Troyan worked with Rupert Sanders as VFX supervisor on the film Snow White and the Huntsman, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award, and is now directing the Snow White... spin-off The Huntsman, as well as a re-boot of Highlander. He has worked in commericals for a number of post houses and is a former member for directing collective Psyop. He also directed the brilliant short film, Carrot vs Ninja [below].

In the interview, Nicolas-Troyan discusses with Patterson his passion for creating new worlds but keeping a sense of familiarity about them; how he segued from comic books to VFX to directing and what excites him about making films.
