Super Bowl XLIX: Last year they told us how good their Big Game ad would have been If We Made It. This year they did make one, but typically took a No Bollocks approach.

Prior to the big event this year Newcastle attempted to Crash The Super Bowl by cleverly disguising their own advert as one for a famous snack chip brand and entering a popular user-generated competition. 

Following their spot, Chores (above), the creative team enlisted the help of Parks and Recreation star, Aubrey Plaza (below), to call for brands to join them in funding a Big Game ad in exchange for having their logo displayed in the film and a mention. "Instead of blowing Newcastle’s marketing budget, let’s team up to blow all of our marketing budgets, together! That’s called teamwork,” Plaza explains in the call for submissions.

Created by Droga5 and helmed by  Caviar, the advert premiered on NewcastleBandOfBrands.com and was broadcast regionally in Palm Springs allowing the 37 brands a slice of Super Bowl glory.
