South African director Brian Little helms this new music video for U2 which indulges in the talent of street artist DALeast. Following the Cape Town-based, China-born creative, the piece takes us on a journey through the production process for one of his works.

Little’s film sees the creation of a graffiti bird in a montage of time-lapse and real time clips, allowing the viewer to grasp the pure genius behind DALeast’s work from start to finish.

The bird then comes alive sweeping with beauty and grace across the NYC night sky joined with other animals, which eventually join the artist at the Hudson River. The post production was completed by animator and fellow South African Iwan Zwarts, who put together a talented team including Tom Bussell, Charlotte Arnold and Danny Morris for the job.
