KBS Toronto has announced that Brenda Surminski has joined the agency as head of broadcast. Surminski previously held the same title at Ogilvy and Mather for 10 years and was a key player in the successful repositioning of Unilever’s Dove brand.

She is perhaps best known for her work on the viral web campaign Evolution, which received the first ever Cannes Lions double Grand Prix award. In this newly created role, Surminski will oversee all aspects of film and video production. Her responsibilities will include maintaining the KBS creative standard across all clients.
