This quirky music video for British electronic dance music duo Basement Jaxx takes inspiration from both sex toys and dance.
Directed by Saman Kesh and produced by SKUNK, the film is set to the song Never Say Never and presents viewers with the Twerkbot – an electronic pair of buttocks created to save mankind from losing the art of movement.
"I wanted to make a creation that merged the Japanese obsession robotic/sex toys and the fact that the world’s dancing population is starting to look less and less exciting as the music as become more ‘synthetic’,” says Kesh.
“So the irony of using a synthetic recreation to bring back such a human trait was kind of powerful to me. The awesome folks at Alterian Inc. helped me bring my dancing ass on metal sticks to life."
