Bell’s whisky, The Reader. Greg Gray has delivered a truly moving film. I feel compelled to order it at the bar and I don’t drink whisky!

A Glidecam. It makes the humble 5D filmmaker look that little bit more competent.

Facebook or Twitter?

Facebook. All day, everyday. Twitter is great but it's restrictive and that dog don’t hunt with me. I like my social media visual and busy.

The Radiohead PolyFauna experience. It's hours of first-person drug-trip fun.

True Detective. Gritty, surreal and brilliant performances.

The Robocop Remake. The one made entirely by fans, not that new, shiny mess with Samual L Jackson and Batman in it.

Where were you when inspiration last struck?

Jogging… Always jogging

If there was one thing you could change about the advertising industry, what would it be?

More computer-game-experiential advertising please.

What or who has most influenced your career and why?

Alan Moore, a man who knows how to take a dusty, old story and jazz it up. He's always done it his way and writes better than anyone I’ve read. Don’t forget the beard… genius should always have a beard!

Tell us one thing about yourself that most people won’t know.

When I was 16 my career ambition was to be an actor.
