Range Rover Races the Sun
Some dual screen technology in evidence in this new campaign for Range Rover Sport.
A collaboration between Y&R New York, Wunderman, MJZ LA and Stink Digital sees this new campaign for Land Rover allow people to take control of the new Range Rover Sport via their mobile phone.
Race the Sun is an original story developed as an interactive film by MJZ director Dante Ariola and Y&R NY, with Stink Digital and Wunderman NY creating the digital interaction.
Using WebSocket technology, viewers will be able to synch their smart phone to the film while it plays. The phone then becomes a game controller and second info screen allowing you to twist, tap and swipe your touchscreens to match the maneuvers of the Range Rover Sport in three gaming experiences that play out in tandem to the story. You can choose not to connect a phone and use a computer keyboard to control the action. At the end of the game/film you'll be given a score to tell you just how bad a driver you really are.
