Pulse Films gets Young Replicant

Los Angeles-based director Alex Takacs and his numerous collaborators operating under the moniker Young Replicant join Pulse's range of music video, film and advertising production talent. The director's first work under the company is a music video for the xx titled Chained. Working alongside creative partner and producer Joe Nankin, Takacs has directed award-winning videos for critically revered M83 and newcomers Baths and Purity Ring. His videos for Bath's Lovely Bloodflow and Hooray for Earth's True Loves have premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival, SXSW and other showcases around the world.
