Gragido keeps up with The Joneses
Executive producer Mel Gragido signs Moland, Skog, Lambert, Sai and Forbes
Executive producer Mel Gragido has returned to The Joneses to assemble a roster of directors from North America and around the globe. The California-based production company will gain Scandinavian directors Hans Moland and Johan Skog, British director Andy Lambert, Italian-born director Riccardo Sai and American director Josh Forbes.
Moland and Skog have been working with Gragido on US projects for several years. Moland is known in Europe for feature films and commercials, including spots for Finnair, the Norwegian Lottery and the Norwegian power company Hafslund. Skog has created award-winning work for Electrolux, Scandinavian Airlines, IKEA and chocolate maker Freia. He is also the recipient of a gold and two silver Lions from Cannes for his work in music videos and episodic television.
Lambert is represented by HSI London and is known for work with big, cinematic production value. He has directed a number of spots featuring spoofs of famous movies including Rocky IV, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Deer Hunter. Sai has spent most of his career as a freelance director in London and his recent work includes short films for Microsoft and Nike.
Forbes has directed music videos for Good Charlotte, The Fray, The Submarines, Hockey and Sarah Bareilles. His work mixes narrative with CGI and low-tech visual effects. His first commercial project came last year when he directed a music video-style promo for the medical alert device Lifeline starring Betty White.
