The independent creative company 22squared, that helps brands add value to consumers’ lives, announces its new CMO, former Saatchi & Saatchi New York CMO Christine Prins.

As the company’s first female CMO, Prins will drive marketing, communications and lead new business efforts. She will report to newly promoted CEO, Erica Hoholick and sits on the company’s executive leadership team. She is also the first marketing executive for the company for the last twenty years. Her hire marks a new chapter for 22squared as it navigates the start of its second century as an independent company.

The New York-based marketing veteran joins the company after seven years shaping up Saatchi & Saatchi NY’s growth and marketing initiatives. Prior to that, Prins spent six years as Chief Growth Officer at kbs+, running new business, securing top tier brand clients for the company.

Christine strategically thinks in terms of audiences

said Erica Hoholick. “She is creatively driven and has a proven new business track record. Her appointment signifies 22squared's commitment to continuing to grow and expand our national footprint.”

“I am honored to be joining the extraordinary team at 22squared at this pivotal moment in their history,” said Prins. “The employee owned structure and integrated model creates a unique advantage in the marketplace and I’m excited to help the agency continue to grow into the future.”

Prins is an active member of 4A’s new business committee. She is also fluent in Spanish and holds a BS in Marketing from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
