KRO Telebingo: Stray Kids

A title presents “The Nightlight” and we cut to a dreary black and white film. An outdoor light illuminates the heavy rain that falls outside a ramshackle, dingy shelter. “The Cuddly Toy” comes next. It is a rat nibbling in rubbish around barbed wire. A caption informs us of the 50 million children that lack a roof over their heads, then announces that Telebingo proceeds will support homeless children. We are asked, ‘Take their part by taking part.’
