Would you take life advice from a dead man? Well, if he was the founder of one of the world's most successful beer brands - one which is currently celebrating its 170th anniversary - the answer is probably yes.

The good news is that you don't need to travel into the afterlife to hear J.C. Jacobsen's pearls of wisdom: thanks to the marvels of modern technology, the pioneering founder of Carlsberg will be taking to the stage to deliver a TEDxCopenhagen talk today [23 August].

Resurrected by FCB alliance agency Happiness and leading holographics provider MDH Hologram to mark Carlsberg's 170th anniversary, Jacobsen's hologram will deliver a posthumous presentation entitled ‘Why you should answer every question with "Probably"’ as well as interacting live with the audience. It's one of five talks on the theme of ‘Trust Uncertainty’ to be held at Copenhagen's New Carlsberg Glyptotek art gallery.

Although the event is now sold out, the good news is that you can tune into Jacobsen's talk from wherever you are in the world, via YouTube Live from 1pm CEST.

Look out for a Q&A with Geoffrey Hantson, CCO of FCB Happiness and Rasmus Bendtsen, Carlsberg's international marketing manager.
