In a series of short sharp shots from Biborg for new Playstation 4 game Horizon Zero Dawn, we take us to a post-apocalyptic world featuring the fall of famous landmarks.
Across five seven-second videos, Biborg show famous landmarks across Berlin, Rome, London, Madrid, and Paris become ruins, as sinister-looking aliens lurk in the background.
They created these mini-videos as digital matte paintings, a technique mostly used in sci-fi and fantasy films like the later Star Wars sequels (which themselves feel like landmarks that have turned to ruins over time.)
