The film Isolation, which was crafted for the Danish charity Mødrehjælpen, focuses on the harrowing reality of domestic violence against children. In Denmark 33,000 children experience domestic violence every year. In times of crisis, the number is rising dramatically. The advert poses the question, are you worried about a child? if so please reach out, intervene, and help stop the violence.
In the video interview above we discuss how the film came to be, how the collaborative shoot was managed with a wide variety of material being submitted by wonderful people in Emilie and Christina’s network, and what we can expect to see from both directors individually in the future.
