powered byFor our latest interview in our YDA 2020 Gold winners series Daniel Huntley caught up with Great Guns director Natasha Mynhier whose short film In A Beat [below] picked up a Gold in the Mid-Length Film (30 to 60 mins) - Northern America category.
The engaging short film focusses on Darrel, a young Black autistic boy, who convinces his mother to let him stay home alone so she can pursue a once in a lifetime opportunity. But when unexpected circumstances surface, he must find a unique way to cope with his meltdown alone.
We caught up with Natasha to discover how this short film came about, how the shoot went and her plans for the future.
