The latest Shiny Awards event was hosted at Framestore London.
Shiny are dedicated to changing the look of the commercial industry’s director talent pool.
The recent Winter Shiny Awards hosted by Framestore continued their exceptional track record on this front.
The shortlist of 14 spec ads, music videos, branded content and micro-shorts screened to a packed house of over 150 new directors, post production, production services and production companies.
Of the 14 videos, only four were made by directors from the mainstream demographic. The rest were made by female directors, global ethnic majority directors, LGBTQIA+ and directors with a low income upbringing.

Judges selecting the winners were Percy Ascott (Wall of Entertainment). Alex Reeves (LBBO), Simon Devereaux and Anna Kennedy (Framestore).
