Directing duo The Bobbsey Twins’ new work for Westpac follows a young boy and adorable monster as they construct a treehouse for the ages.
Built by Glasshammer, the monster was the result of countless concept iterations; its design tweaked to balance actor mobility and size, with a colour scheme developed from detailed animal references.
The story’s direction offers a heartfelt glimpse of what we can do when we band together, marrying imaginative and whimsical production design with blockbuster cinematography. It’s one-part the childhood of our dreams, and one-part the family movie we’re all searching to stream in lockdown.
