Vrbo, which pioneered online vacation rentals nearly 25 years ago, launched a national TV ad campaign focused on helping families and groups of friends find the perfect vacation home.

The ad, called Find Me A Match, depicts three distinctive groups being perfectly matched with homes that fit their unique needs. Directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and produced by PRETTYBIRD and Vrbo’s internal creative team, the ad pairs colorful visuals with rollicking choreography and a memorable jingle that showcases the company’s new official pronunciation - “Ver-boh.”

“The idea for this campaign started with a basic question: How can we communicate the idea of a perfect match in the simplest way possible? We decided to illustrate the idea that any traveler can find their ‘one-in-a-million’ home in a way everyone can understand: through song, dance and striking visuals,” said director Todd Strauss-Schulson, also known for the recent romantic comedy ‘Isn’t It Romantic.’ “We treated the storyline like a love story based on the idea that there’s one perfect vacation home out there for everybody. The bold visual cues and catchy song tell our story to a mass audience in a fun, memorable way.”

“The vibrant and lively spirit of our new ad campaign reflects the joy and excitement of going on vacation,” said Judy Kay, chief strategy officer at HomeAway. “The commercial also captures how Vrbo makes it easy and fun for families and groups of friends to find the perfect vacation home when traveling together.”

The new Vrbo ad campaign will be shown on select national and special interest cable networks such as HGTV, Travel Channel and TLC. The commercial is scheduled to appear during Good Morning America and TODAY, as well as home, family and travel-related programs, such as Fixer Upper, Property Brothers and Bizarre Foods.
