Vimeo celebrates 20 years of supporting filmmakers

Twice Pictures collaborated with Vimeo to craft this tribute, celebrating Vimeo’s 20 years of supporting filmmakers. 

The film, directed by the talented Lee J Ford, blends the power of AI with human creativity. Produced for the Vimeo Reframe event in New York, Ford immerses the audience in the "Vimeoverse" through the use of generative AI, stunning camera transitions, and virtual production technology.

Vimeo is recognised for being a platform that empowers creators, emphasising high-quality, professional video hosting and production tools. This latest campaign highlights their commitment to evolving alongside technological trends, emphasising that the platform is not just a video hosting service but a partner in pushing creative boundaries. 

Director Lee J Ford had this to say about the project: "This was a fun project for lots of reasons, first of all it was great to reunite and work again with my ex-creative partner Dan Brooks, who is now running all things creative at Vimeo. It was also an opportunity to use gen AI which I have been experimenting with for a while in a real world situation for a huge brand, integrating it with Virtual Production, which we also made part of the story, kinda meta! and lots of fun."
