Untold Studios signs Danielle Oexmann
The director and multidisciplinary creative is joining the production house.
Creative studio and community Untold Studios, has announced the signing of Danielle Oexmann to its growing roster.
Based out of the newly launched LA studio, Oexmann brings a wealth of experience in creating culturally relevant work that speaks to a broad range of audiences.
Oexmann uses documentary, narrative and experimental filmmaking techniques to share perspectives on the female experience, women’s issues, social justice and youth culture. She’s directed documentaries for brands such as Red Bull Music, Google, Square Cash, Vice, Flaunt Magazine, Garage Magazine, Resy, Loom, The Art of Shaving, and Ceylon.
Oexmann directed and hosted two seasons of an animated podcast for Chromebook called The Adulthood, in which she interviewed climate justice activists, musicians, and athletes about topics such as mental health, identity, and climate change.
Her work has been shown around the world at festivals including Sundance, Cannes, SXSW, Telluride, and LAFF. She has produced projects in collaboration with The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles Dance Project, Mark Bradford, and The Creator’s Project.
