UNIT Film & TV, the Fitzrovia boutique facility, announced the hire of two highly acclaimed longform artists to join its ever-expanding team, welcoming Colourist Kevin Horsewood and Online Editor, Simon Giblin.

Both artists bring a wealth of experience and a remarkable portfolio of work that will significantly enhance the facility’s creative capabilities, working closely with UNIT Head of Film & TV Louise Stevenson, Senior Colourist Dan Coles and Online Editor, Siôn Penny.

Kevin Horsewood joins UNIT TV & Film with an impressive background in grading. Over the years his work has been honoured with multiple awards, including a BAFTA (Troy: Fall of a City) and three RTS Television Awards (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sherlock and Persuasion), alongside additional nominations.

His notable credits include critically acclaimed series such as Black Mirror, The Devil’s Hour, Inside Man, Best Interests, Happy Valley, Gentleman Jack, and Brave New World. Horsewood's expertise lies in his early involvement in productions, collaborating closely with Directors of Photography (DoPs) to shape the visual style from pre-production through to the final grade. His long standing relationships with industry-leading DoPs and his passion for creating distinctive visual narratives make him a valuable addition to our team.

Simon Giblin, who is a Senior Online & VFX Editor is known for his exceptional work on recent ITV hit The Wheel of Time, His Dark Materials, Andor, Black Mirror, Dracula, Poldark, Douglas Is Cancelled, The Long Shadow, The Devil’s Hour and Roadkill.

Simon Giblin expressed his enthusiasm about his new UNIT role, saying: "I couldn’t be prouder to be joining UNIT at a time of growth and can't wait to contribute to the continued expansion of the broadcast team. It's an honour to bring my experience and to work alongside Kevin and the team in creating outstanding visual storytelling. The UNIT Longform team has already had such a strong year and we look forward to working on some of the best Film and TV projects over the coming years with Louise as the broadcast department continues to grow and expand.”
