Award-winning studio Pulse Films, announces that Directing Duo UNCANNY will be represented on their roster for music video and commercial projects.

Consisting of Elliot Elder and George Muncey, the pair are known for their visually striking and bold ideas making the multidisciplinary film makers a strong fit for the Pulse Films team. Their work primarily questions traditional practices in film, design and photography.

Having worked together for two years, UNCANNY most recently directed the music video Deb Never - Momentary Sweetheart, and a double drop of Slowthai videos. Collaborating with another Pulse Films duo - The Rest, the foursome joined up to direct videos for Slowthai’s latest tracks Selfish and Feel Good.

The duo have also previously worked with artists such as Danger Mouse, A$AP Rocky, and Loyle Carner.

Rik Green, Head of Music Videos said: “I've been following Uncanny for a while now and catching all these really striking videos they've been doing. Their approach and spirit are exactly the kind of thing that I love, coupled with really great ideas I believe means they'll be a strong directing force. I'm really excited for the work we'll be doing together.”

Signing UNCANNY highlights Pulse Films’ continued commitment to working with new talent who bring fresh ideas, perspectives and diverse ideas to the table and continue to push creative boundaries in the industry.
Recent work from the Pulse Films team includes a Paddy Power spot starring footballer Peter Crouch; a French spot for TikTok showcasing how the social platform goes beyond choreographed dance videos; a high energy film interweaving stylised still and live action for British Airways; Apple x Beats.

In music videos the team have most recently produced the Lewis Capaldi music video, Pointless, which intimately captures a mother-son relationship and all the tentacles, karaoke and sushi with Harry Styles.
