Twist welcomes UK-based Spanish director Eduardo Vietiez to the roster. The company is embracing the opportunity for bilingual directors on the roster to better service the growing US Hispanic market. Eduardo’s visual style and experience also has an appeal to global brands. Eduardo joins other multi-lingual roster directors Igor Borghi (English, Italian, Spanish) & Marc André Debruyne (English & French).

“This is one of several changes we’ll be announcing this year. We’re restructuring at Twist to be able to offer our clients more in products and services and to further our reach”, comments EP Amyliz Pera, who has a Business Development focus at Twist. “We’re still handling recruitment with the same amount of care we’ve always had. I think that sets us apart. We have a lot of repeat clients, and we want them to be confident that anyone we bring to the roster will deliver the same quality they’re used to getting from Twist.”

Eduardo made the transition from being an agency Creative Director at renowned Euro/RSCG shop Solero & Solero, to leveraging his talents as a respected Commercial and Music Video Director. He had a six year tenure at Spain’s premiere production company Lee Films, where he worked for clients such as Nike, Greenpeace, Heineken, & McDonald’s. During this time, he also founded a postproduction and motion graphics company, which has clearly informed his current work, which features lovely VFX. Eduardo has worked globally including the US, Germany, France, The Czech Republic, China, Sweden, Belgium, The Netherlands, Turkey, & Bulgaria. He’s worked with a variety of agencies which include BBDO, TBWA, McCann, Grey, Publicis, Y&R, and Ogilvy. He also continues to paint and illustrate and has had numerous exhibitions in Madrid.

“My work is more than just a way to make a living, it’s my passion”, says Vietiez. “After working on International campaigns around the world with a lot of different production houses, I’ve come to realize I need to work with people who share my passion and conduct business the way I do. From the first conversation with Twist, I saw this - - the passion they bring to every job, how they value their crew, the excitement for projects in bid…I feel like they care, and I’m encouraged to embark on this adventure together.”

Twist President/EP Jim Geib summarizes the decision to sign Vietiez. “It’s really lucky to find a director with great looking work who started as an agency Creative Director, had concentrated time in post production and VFX, has worked in multiple countries, and can speak Spanish. And, he’s a nice guy. What more can we ask for?”
