Tom Leonard takes his storied career in the advertising and entertainment industry to Boomshot, joining as their newly appointed director of client partnerships.

With hands-on experience as a producer and his unique vision as a principal consultant, creatively bringing brands and companies together, Leonard is primed to take his thoughtful leadership and sharp insights to Boomshot.

Over the past 17 years, Leonard built his own business development consultancy, RISE. Creative Resources, which connected brands, agencies, and entertainment companies to top-tier creative resources for their marketing and advertising needs. He has also worked with many illustrious and innovative companies, including NBC, Rhythm & Hues, Pittard Sullivan, Digital Kitchen, Butler Shine & Stern, Imaginary Forces, Leviathan, Optimus, and The Second City, whether it be leading production teams or as a consultant, bolstering companies with his business support.

Leonard’s work on Budweiser’s Pour earned him an AICP award in 2005; the spot is currently archived at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. His work at Shutterstock saw him in the role of agency studio specialist as the company furthered its mission to help creative professionals produce the best work possible on one platform.

Leonard’s passion for creativity, innovation, and collaboration drives his ambition to serve creative companies and individuals alike. Generating new work and revenue while solving creative problems for many influential entities in the industry has made him an invaluable asset to all who work with him. Now, he’s bringing all of that with him to Boomshot.

“My mission is to connect and empower the best talent in the industry and to deliver exceptional results for my clients,” says Leonard. “Boomshot is an incredibly unique company in the industry. The scale they work at is inspiring. They’ve made a name for themselves in the world of sports and the advertising and production industry. I’m honored to join as their director of client partnerships, and I look forward to the work we can do together.”

“Having Tom in on the action has already made us better,” says Meredith Weiss, Managing Director and Partner at Boomshot. “His abundance of experience is an asset that cannot be overlooked. He’s encountered nearly every problem anyone can come across in the industry, and the companies he’s worked for have all been better for having worked with Tom. We’re confident that this creative-business collaboration will similarly transform Boomshot.”
