Hamburg-based production company Simon & Paul have teamed up with Accenture Song for the first national campaign for WestLotto’s Eurojackpot, titled Verrückt viel Geld (Crazy Amount of Money).

The film marks the first major campaign for the new client and injects a bold dose of nostalgic pop energy into the lottery brand’s communication.

Directed by Carlo Oppermann, with Adam Graf behind the camera, the spot reintroduces ’90s Eurodance icon Captain Jack, delivering an eccentric and humorous celebration of the joy and absurdity that comes with winning "Verrückt viel Geld.”

While the creative is rooted in nostalgic pop culture and absurd humour, the production itself showcases a hybrid of traditional filmmaking and AI-enhanced world-building—a key hallmark of Simon & Paul’s evolving craft. Real-world cinematography was combined with AI-generated environments and visual elements, allowing the team to build rich, imaginative worlds that transcend practical production limits while maintaining a strong sense of human touch and cinematic authenticity.

Simon & Paul’s Managing Director reflected on the process: “This is another example of how AI and traditional production can work perfectly hand in hand. The goal is to maintain craft and real human creativity while using technology to extend what’s possible. That’s how we should be using these tools, expanding worlds, not just replicating them.”

Complementing the film, the key visuals were shot by Amsterdam-based photographer Elza Jo, who is also represented by Simon & Paul. The project’s VFX supervision and postproduction were led by Bas Moonen from Ambassadors Berlin, who enhanced the campaign’s vivid and surreal aesthetic.

The result is a sensory explosion that celebrates excess, humour, and fantasy, perfectly aligned with Accenture Song’s brief to capture the emotional thrill of “Verrückt viel Geld.” The campaign rolls out nationwide across TV, online, and social platforms, marking the start of a bold new chapter for Eurojackpot’s brand storytelling.
