The Progress Film Company was founded in 2010 by filmmakers Matt Hopkins and Ben Lankester

Whether in the commercial or independent space, Progress’ mission has always been to tell powerful stories. Stories that matter.

“Since Andrew Porteous - MD/EP and Antionette De Lisser - Head of New Business joined Progress the industry has been watching closely at what these guys are going to do next. They have all the right sensibilities and foundations to become a well-loved and deeply resourceful production company; their offering of top international directors combined with the development of new talent through their Studio gives them the perfect platform to service large projects through to smaller, more creatively challenging content. Like Lemonade, Progress have big plans and we’re thrilled our partnership will help to realise them.” - Corin West, Managing Director at Lemonade Reps.

“The timing couldn’t be better to have Lemonade as our repping company as we enter a new phase of our growth. I’ve known Corin for a long time and implicitly trust his creative judgement, and that our companies share the same ethos.” - Andrew Porteous, MD / Executive Producer at Progress.

The Progress Film Company has two distinct offerings: Progress X and Progress S. Progress X is a rich roster of talented directors - Ben Lankester, Cale Glendening, Carly Cussen, Helen Takkin, Jonny Mass, Kacper Larski, Matt Hopkins, Sam Washington and Tibor Glage. Between them they have created an incredible body of work for a rich tapestry of brands ranging from Converse and Netflix to Porsche and BMW.

Progress S is a full service, Brighton based creative studio with over a decade of experience in delivering award winning campaigns, branded and social content for a multitude of clients, including Jaguar Land Rover, Microsoft, Oxfam and TAG Heuer, to name a few. With a dedicated team of creatives, filmmakers and animators bound by a shared passion for storytelling, Progress S works in a bespoke, agile fashion, no matter the brief or budget.

Porteous adds: “We are poised to tackle all aspects of the advertising film market with our established Progress X roster and the emerging talent of Progress S. Myself, Antoinette and Progress are excited about this new partnership with Lemonade as we look to build even greater momentum.”
