Editing house tenthree welcomes acclaimed editor David Whittaker for exclusive representation.

During his multifaceted career as a partner at esteemed editing company Arc Edit, Whittaker worked closely alongside his team to mentor emerging talent and provide them with great editorial opportunities to unveil their potential, an initiative which he is keen to continue at tenthree.

Since returning to London, Whittaker has worked on projects with award-winning director and writer Ric Cantor with production company FRIEND, and director Nicholas Jack Davies with The Sweetshop. David recently completed working on the feature documentary project Name Me Lawand, where he collaborated with Sweetshop director Ed Lovelace on a Pulse Films production. The film is set to be released by the BFI this summer.

Most recently, Whittaker has partnered with long term collaborator renowned art and directing collective The Glue Society on the newly released B&Q spot, Prices. Nailed, with UK production powerhouse Uncommon.

Ed Hoadley, Managing Director at tenthree, comments: “As well as being a brilliant editor, David comes with the experience of being a partner at Arc (the edit house he worked at in Sydney) that adds a level of maturity to how he approaches his career and deals with clients. He’s also a really lovely bloke.

David Whittaker, Editor at tenthree, adds: "I’ve always been a big fan of Tenthree so when I moved back to London and the opportunity to join came up I jumped at the chance".
