Stink Films announce that multi-talented creator and Screen’s Star of Tomorrow, George Jaques, has joined Stink Rising for commercial and music video representation.

Unrestricted by medium or format, Jaques moves seamlessly between the worlds of TV, feature film, commercials and music videos and leans on his successful acting career to conceive stories that resonate with British culture and evoke emotion.

His debut feature film, Black Dog, is set to premiere at the prestigious BFI London Film Festival this autumn, and is nominated for the ‘Best First Feature’ award. Jaques was also recently-named Screen International’s Star of Tomorrow and has directed a number of short films supported by Sony, Sky and Warner Brothers as well as staging several sell-out theatre shows.

Having risen to fame as an actor, Jaques starred alongside Jude Law in HBO’s The Third Day: Autumn; played Francis II in Lionsgate’s series The Serpent Queen, and the lead in Sky’s A Town Called Malice. Jacques’ years in front of the camera have provided him with practices and knowledge to implement behind the camera, paying particular attention to pace, story and performance.

Stink Films represents Jaques for music videos and commercials exclusively worldwide whilst United Agents represents him for acting, film, TV, theatre and voiceover work.

George Jaques says: “I am so excited to be represented by Stink for commercials and music videos. The calibre of talent on their roster is mind-blowing and I’ve always admired the team. My hope is that I can bring my sensibilities as a performance-driven director and connections from the world of Film and TV to make great commercial work together.”

Blake Powell says: “George and I met a few years back when he was still getting his TV and film work off the ground and, even then, it was clear that he is unstoppable. When someone is that charismatic, driven, and talented it’s hard not to sign them. We’re so excited to welcome him aboard.”
