Steven Norel heads to Electric Light Studios

Electric Light Studios sign French director Steven Norel to their roster for representation in the UK.

A self-taught director and photographer based in Paris, Norel feeds his passion through an aesthetic language closely linked to his childhood, influenced by the pop culture of the 90s and 2000s, all brought up to date.

His artistic eye, attune to imperfections and bright colour pallets enables him to sublimate daily life, leaving room for a duality between reality and fantasy… often making the ugly beautiful.

Having cut his teeth alongside acclaimed French photographer Fifou, he developed an appetite for artistic direction allowing him to distinguish himself with a singular visual universe.
