Malik is a multi-disciplinary director and photographer. His creative work spans genres from documentary to scripted to playful cgi, and his craftsmanship and inspired artistry are evident in every project.
Malik’s visual perspective stems from his upbringing with his deaf mother who challenged him to communicate imaginatively. His past shines through in the imagery he creates, which is both innovative and heartfelt.He studied sound design and music composition in Los Angeles before cutting his teeth in the editing room early in his career.
Malik has directed campaigns for brands including Apple, Facebook, AT&T, Toyota, Red Bull, Samsung, NASA, and Google, and has won accolades and recognition from AICP, Cannes, and others.
