Hardy Chicagoan adland folk braved the staggeringly low temperatures of Thursday February 19th to venture to the fantastic Showplace ICON theatre for SourceEcreative's 'Presents' screening. Collecting together the greatest short film and music video content from the world's most exciting signed and unsigned directors, the evening provided the warmth of creativity to the chilly bones of The Windy City's finest.

Hosted by SourceEcreative's Worldwide Editor Jamie Madge, and following the popular London and New York screenings, the selection threw the spotlight on a combination of fresh-faced new films from emerging directors alongside a handful of favourites from the 2014's New York and London 'Presents' screenings. Highlights included local documentarian Adam Harbottle's thoughtful piece on visual artist SentRock, Eric Kissak's ever-popular 'The Gunfighter' and Thorn Glunt's magnificently macabre 'banned' commercial for STRAFE.

After the films had finished, the 100-strong crowd retired to the lush VIP bar of the ICON to discuss the films at length (and figure out how to get home without freezing!).
