SourceEcreative Salutes Indian Ad
Community at Juhu Beach Party

We're on our way to Goafest, but first we stopped off in
Mumbai to host a reception for members of the
Indian ad agency and production industry.

The conversation flowed easily at the SourceEcreative party in Mumbai this week.

On a hot and steamy Tuesday night in Juhu Beach earlier this week, the good and great of Mumbai's advertising and production industry came to celebrate the successful first year of SourceEcreative's activities in the world's fastest growing economy.  (Scroll down for more pictures of the event.)

On hand to greet them were SourceEcreative's London-based dynamic duo of Managing Director James Straker and Director of Sales & Media Simon West.  We partnered on the event with UK Trade & Investment, the British government's initiative to support UK-based business interests around the globe. Also in attendance was David Moore of the British Deputy High Commissioner's office and T. R. Giridhar of UKTI.

Dozens of agency and production company people turned out, including creatives, producers, directors and EPs from such agencies as Leo Burnett, Ogilvy & Mather, Draftfcb India, Mudra, Euro RSCG India, BBH, Lowe, Contract Advertising and Dentsu and others, and from such production companies as Footcandles Film, Bang Bang Films, Film Farm, Little Lamb Films, Nomad Films and many more.

With the drinks and food flowing, the night's topics varied from the use of digital versus film to hot picks for the Abby Awards at Goafest and of course the superb win for India in the recent cricket World Cup. SourceEcreative will be publishing a list of winners from Goafest next week, along with photos of the event.
