A far cry from the frozen event of 2015, 2016’s Presents screening in the wonderful Chicago was an entirely warm affair in both temperature and audience.

Housed in the splendid surrounding of the Music Box Theatre, the evening collected together 55-minutes of the best shorts and music videos from unsigned directors from around the world - all found in the Scout directory. Hosted by Source Worldwide Editor Jamie Madge, the custom-made collection provoked laughs and tears from the industry audience and sparked lively debate in the drinks reception that followed.

Popular highlights from the show included Caroline Bartleet’s powerful short ‘Operator’, Henry Kaplan’s zombie dance-off ‘We Together’ and the shockingly hilarious opener ‘The Night The Moon Fell’ by John Bashyam.

The brilliant Bill Werme was on hand to capture the event in-camera, and you can see the full set of snaps from the evening and step-and-repeat on our Facebook page. We’ve also put together a Slate of the films shown, so you can enjoy them at your leisure. For full credits, click here.
