Sound Lounge reopens Boston outpost for remote audio post services
Sound Lounge Everywhere provides remote audio post and sound mixing services for clients between New York and Boston.
New York City-based Sound Lounge, the renowned artist-owned and operated audio post-production studio, has reopened its Boston hub in partnership with EDITBAR, a full service, award winning creative company.
Sound Lounge Everywhere provides remote audio post and sound mixing services for clients between New York and Boston. Now, for the first time since the pandemic-led closure, clients in the Boston market will be able to access the mixing talent at Sound Lounge’s New York location.
“We are excited to renew our collaboration with EDITBAR, to seamlessly provide access to Boston-based clients for their audio post production needs,” said Marshall Grupp, Partner and COO of Sound Lounge. “When the pandemic hit, we all pivoted to working remotely, providing top-notch mixing capabilities and an unmatched level of streaming quality. However, we are now able to deliver services at a level comparable to in-studio from our Boston location and welcome the return of ‘in-person’ services.”
“EDITBAR is thrilled to have our Sound Lounge Everywhere studio back open,” said Phoebe Cole, Executive Producer of EDITBAR. “It’s always been such an important component to our client's workflow and being able to offer the capability again will no doubt be a game changer to a city hungry to return to in-studio supervision. We’ve loved seeing friendly faces around for our edits again and being able to house audio production under the same roof will only make things more streamlined than they already are.”
Since launching, Sound Lounge Everywhere's service has been used on several commercial projects, including the Hyatt with Royal Caribbean, Dunkin Donuts, Bank of America, McDonald's, Sam Adams, Subway, Liberty Mutual, and Puma. Discussions for additional locations are also underway for 2023.
