Due to the ongoing coronavirus threat, the planned Los Angeles shots Awards will be moving from a physical event to a live streamed one.
It is with sad inevitability that shots has been forced to cancel its plans to bring the shots Awards The Americas to Los Angeles next month.
We likely don't need to explain why we have made this decision, but the safety of our staff, partners, customers and suppliers is our number one priority.
The good news is we're not abandoning the awards. The jury is still hard at work judging the shortlist and we WILL be awarding our winners. However, due to the uncertainty of this crisis, and the fact that it will take a long time for things to get back to normal, we are going to be conducting the awards via a live stream rather than a physical gathering.
More details will follow once we figure out how to create the best possible celebration of the winning work outside of an in-person event. It is likely to take place in May, but more information will follow as soon as we have it.
If you are one of those who has already bought your early-bird awards ticket, you will be receiving a full refund.
