Ridley Scott Associates has appointed Josie Juneau to the newly created role of Head of Advertising.

Working alongside RSA MD Kai Hsiung, Juneau will oversee the UK roster of directors, with the responsibility to find and develop talent, and manage agency relationships.

Juneau comments “From the first moment I started in production, RSA was always the one to beat. It has been a company I have admired my whole career. So, to be joining RSA alongside Kai, working with the whole team, and representing such an exceptional roster is almost unbelievable. People don’t need to know that I shaved my Barbie’s head as a child and renamed her Ripley. To be part of the evolution of RSA is career-defining and a real privilege.”

Juneau began her career at the award-winning film production company Ecosse Films, before pursuing a career in TV production in advertising. She spent 12 years working at a number of advertising agencies including Lowe, Ogilvy, AMV BBDO and 180 Amsterdam. After which, Juneau returned to London to be production company side once more, as head of new business at Rattling Stick.

Spending eight years at the helm of Rattling Stick, latterly as a Partner, Juneau worked with some of the most awarded names in advertising including Daniel Kleinman, Andy McLeod, Traktor and the late, great Ringan Ledwidge; picking up coveted accolades including the Cannes Lions Grand Prix, British Arrows Chairman’s Award, Yellow D&AD Pencils, and many more industry awards.

The newly formed head of advertising role at RSA follows the success of the recently established Unscripted and Creative Divisions, with notable works including the acclaimed Robbie Williams limited series for Netflix, and a branded partnership for Diageo around House of Gucci.

“The restructure of our internal divisions at RSA including our advertising offering, ensures we will attract the very best production, communications, and creative talent for years to come. Josie’s reputation in advertising precedes her, she has great relationships with directors and agencies, and we were delighted when the opportunity arose for her to join our growing team” Kai Hsiung, MD, RSA.
