Reebok & Deutsch NY present Proud Notes
What started as a whiteboard session with our LGBTQ+ ERG evolved into a meaningful collaboration that has fostered relationships across our brand.
Reebok present their 2020 Pride collection, “All Types of Love,” and accompanying film created by Deutsch NY that, through letters of support written by loved ones, honors a group of individual activists and influencers in the LGTBQ+ community who are fighting for equality every day.
Deutsch NY Executive Creative Director, Pete Johnson, noted: “All Types of Love, was a labor of love. We did a lot with a little and tried our best to demonstrate Reebok’s appreciation for the LGBTQ+ community in a simple way that was true, meaningful, and impactful. The work was designed, develop and produced by a multicultural team of various backgrounds, sexual orientations and gender identities, and stands as testament to Deutsch NY’s commitment to bringing a diverse chorus of voices under one roof (or now, zoom)."

As conveyed by members of Reebok’s LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group: “Our 2020 Pride collection, “All Types of Love,” is a celebration of how far we’ve come, as well as an opportunity to raise awareness of the work that still lies ahead. We aspired to create a message that is truly authentic to our LGBTQ+ community within Reebok that reflects a true expression of the world we live in.
What started as a whiteboard session with our LGBTQ+ ERG evolved into a meaningful collaboration that has fostered relationships across our brand, within and beyond our LGBTQ+ ERG, and has opened the door to honest and raw conversations that continue to further educate the greater community.
”All Types of Love” is representative of the journeys that employees of all global companies experience. It’s the notion that while we all speak, pray, love, and worship differently - while each of us is one-of-a-kind - that we all share a powerful universal bond: this adventure we call “life.” We all desire to belong and to be part of something, to love and to be loved, to create, to teach, and to better ourselves individually and together.”
Reflected across footwear icons and a full range of apparel and accessories, the “All Types of Love” collection enables individuals to showcase their style of Pride however they/he/she sees fit. In support of the campaign and in honor of Pride, Reebok will also donate $75K to the It Gets Better Project, a global LGBTQ+ outreach program that uplifts, empowers, and connects LGBTQ+ youth around the world.
